FRAMING THE LANDSCAPE

The interior of the existing house is dark and pressing, despite the large spaces and many windows. In the living rooms the windows provide insufficient daylight and block just those sights to the landscape where it could be experienced in its wideness.

Together with the interior renovation, we propose a strategic extension that does right to the openness of the landscape. A fine steel structure that relates to the existing facade provides a maximal view out and gives the interior a light and cosy place to linger.
